We're looking for a skilled and innovative Level Designer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you'll be responsible for crafting engaging and immersive game levels that seamlessly integrate gameplay mechanics with narrative elements.
">The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of space, flow, player guidance, and moment-to-moment pacing. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including Art and Narrative departments, to ensure a cohesive and immersive game experience.
">- Developing and iterating on level layouts in Unity
- Collaborating with designers and stakeholders to ensure levels meet expected quality and align with the game's pacing and player experience goals
- Maintaining a balance between creative aspirations and practical project constraints, such as timelines and technical limitations
Experience designing levels for games with exploration, narrative progression, or tactical encounters is highly valued. Familiarity with JRPG structure, proficiency in level design tools, and empathy for the player experience are also essential.
