**Role Overview**
We are seeking a highly skilled Software Application Engineer to join our Application Engineering Team at Foretellix. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for adapting and deploying our verification and validation (V&V) solutions to our customers, ensuring their success in delivering next-generation ADAS/AV products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy the Foretellix solution at customer accounts, including tools installation, integration, customer training, and ramp-up, as well as remote and on-site support.
- Shape our products by serving as the primary point of contact between the customer and R&D, understanding customer V&V challenges, and translating them into product requirements to improve our products.
- Collaborate with the sales team as a technical product expert to develop and deliver demos and presentations to customers, as well as guide and support customer product evaluations.
- When required, create application notes, methodology documents, and technical presentations.
Requirements:
- Knowledge in Software Engineering, including object-oriented programming, testing, and debugging.
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related fields.
- Excellent human relationship skills.
- Communicative and fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Team-player, resourceful, and professional.
Advantages:
- Experience in ADAS/AV V&V, testing, and simulation.
- At least 3 years of industry working experience, ideally in the ADAS/AV domain.
- Previous experience in customer-facing engineering, such as Field Application Engineering, Sales Engineering, Professional Services, or related positions.
- Running and working with ADAS/AV Simulators, e.g. Carla, Sumo, Carmaker, Vires, etc.
- Employee in one of the ADAS/AV companies or one of the companies serving them.
- Previous experience as a Product Manager/Methodology Engineer.
- Knowledge and experience with ADAS/AV verification.
- Knowledge and experience with advanced verification, and specifically with Specman and the 'e' language, and/or SystemVerilog UVM, Perspec PSS, and Coverage Driven Verification.
- MSc or above in Computer Science, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, or related fields.
- Substantial experience in Software Engineering, including object-oriented programming.
