Role Summary

DataForce is seeking a highly skilled AI Production Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and creating solutions for technical production issues within our data services projects.

The successful candidate will be a team player who thrives in a fast-paced work environment, working alongside our Solutions Engineers and Technology Project Managers to develop creative solutions for handling complicated workflows and project executions.

They will be self-motivated to learn and become an expert in data services and our company's technology products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide daily, project-based technical support to production and sales departments
  2. Facilitate company-wide technology rollouts
  3. Assist project managers and external contributors in troubleshooting issues related to project processes
  4. Implement automation for asset pre- and post-processing to enhance efficiency
  5. Develop scripts and/or macros in various programming languages to automate repetitive tasks performed by project managers, optimizing workflow
  6. Generate various file types as per project requirements, including re-coding and script writing as necessary, ensuring compliance with client specifications and data integrity
  7. Validate new features in our DataForce technology products
  8. Work closely with Software Product Managers to report and test fixes for bugs found by product users
  9. Perform other special projects or duties when required
Requirements
  • Business English language proficiency
  • Scripting knowledge in Python, Java or VB
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe software
  • High level of proficiency in Windows platform
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and reasoning skills
  • Ability to identify problems, propose solutions, and make effective decisions
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to communicate important project updates both verbally and in writing
  • Adaptability to new challenges and continuous learning
  • High-level scripting and programming abilities
  • Capability to visualize and present different types of data
Preferred Requirements
  • Proficiency in Linux systems
  • Knowledge of JSON and XML are highly desired
  • Experience creating schemas in JSON
  • Knowledge of regular expressions within programming tasks
  • Experience as Project Lead on a notable and/or innovative project
  • Industry-specific development
