Job Title

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering organization, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines, building and maintaining large-scale data systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable data pipelines to handle high-volume data processing
  • Build and maintain large-scale data systems, including data warehouses and data lakes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and designers to deliver high-quality software solutions
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices and maintainability of the codebase
  • Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and reliability
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience working in the Data Engineering space, and with building and maintaining big data pipelines
  • 5+ years of experience working in agile environments (ideally Scrum), collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, product)
  • Proficient in Spark
  • Experience with strongly-typed languages (Java / Scala preferred)
  • Experience designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs and integrating with external services
