Akesomedical is seeking a highly skilled WC Coordinator to join our team. As a WC Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate in-house occupational health medical treatment requests
  • Facilitate referrals between medical providers and ancillary facilities
  • Provide excellent customer service to employers, insurers, case managers, and worker compensation adjusters
  • Support Referral Specialists and coordinate in-house therapy with clinic staff

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of work experience in a similar role
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Knowledge of Workers' Compensation and medical terminology
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems
  • Bilingual
