Job Title

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Waste Management Supervisor to oversee operations at the solid-waste barn. The ideal candidate will have experience in waste management, with knowledge of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety standards.

">Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily tasking depending on the skill set of the Waste Stream Coordinator's.
  • Maintain and update the Solid Waste Tracking spreadsheet and ensure quality control of the data being inputted.
  • Coordinate safe operation of equipment such as articulating loaders, graders, fork-lifts, tracked agricultural tractors, dump-trucks, excavators, etc.
  • Perform daily equipment checks to ensure all equipment is properly maintained and in safe operating condition.
  • Accurately record time worked and equipment hours used daily in Maximo.
Requirements
  • Willingness and ability to deploy to Antarctica for extended periods is required.
  • Must be willing and able to lift and move items, parts, assemblies and equipment up to the safety regulation maximum.
