Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Mixologist and Beverage Manager to join our team at Accor Hotels. Key Responsibilities
  • Bar Operations: Assume responsibility for the complete set up of the bar before and breakdown after service, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are in good working order.
  • Guest Service: Focus on guest satisfaction and engage and interact with guests to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Beverage Knowledge: Have a good working knowledge of all items, including wines, Champagnes, cocktails, beverages, and bar food, and be able to make appropriate recommendations to guests.
  • Inventory Management: Have full responsibility for the correct input of all information into the Micros system, ensuring that all special requests are clearly communicated to the relevant parties.
  • Payment and Cash Handling: Ensure that drinks served to guests are recorded correctly, with the name of the reservation used on the check, and handle all payment methods correctly.
  • Health and Safety: Comply with Health and Safety legislation, reporting any accidents and acting responsibly in cases of emergency.
  • Training and Development: Participate in training programs, attend service meetings, and be open and receptive in embracing and implementing new concepts.
  • Personal Appearance and Grooming: Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper uniform and name tag while working.
Requirements
  • Knowledge and Skills: Have full knowledge of entire menu, as well as daily specials, desserts, etc.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Provide attentive service, focusing on guests' needs, and receive payment for food and beverage provided.
  • Organizational and Time Management Skills: Keep an accurate record of all checks and balances to be presented in a daily report, including cash deposits.
