YOUR FUTURE RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise Architects are pivotal in orchestrating the creation of a comprehensive enterprise architecture model that aligns with established organizational objectives. SAP has made a strategic decision to significantly invest in an SAP Enterprise Architecture Advisory Team.
The primary responsibility of these Enterprise Architects is to assist and guide all SAP customer segments on their SAP transformation journey, particularly those embarking on a RISE with SAP transition.
Our methodology begins with understanding their current Enterprise Architecture (utilizing tools such as LeanIX or SAP Signavio) and subsequently guiding them towards an ideal target architecture state. This envisioned target architecture harmonizes their strategy and necessary business capabilities with SAP's solutions while adhering to a Clean Core supported by SAP's Business Technology Platform. To facilitate this approach, we employ reliable and established Enterprise Architecture methodologies and frameworks.
Through our strategy, we assist SAP's clients in achieving their strategic objectives by enhancing their business transformation with our insights on Enterprise Architecture and SAP's North Star target architecture. This will promote innovation and the adoption of new business models and technologies, thereby increasing the acceptance and utilization of SAP's solution portfolio.
As we oversee the global Enterprise Architecture Advisory practice, our team defines the role, methods, tools, content, and enablement/community for Enterprise Architects. We will provide guidance and governance to external clients as well as internal stakeholders. As thought leaders, we will offer industry reference architectures and define the future operational framework for Enterprise Architects. Digitization and automation of EA services or activities will also be key tasks we pursue with our team. You will contribute to the development of such topics as a subject matter expert.
Our approach ensures a balanced mix of activities directly aimed at customers and tasks dedicated to supporting and serving colleagues within our team and regional teams.

YOUR PROFILE
- Extensive experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., Program Manager, Architect).
- Demonstrated success in delivering Enterprise Business Transformation through application delivery.
- Expertise in end-to-end architectural design for hybrid solution landscapes.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset, SAP Integration Advisory Methodology, SAP Extensibility Advisory Methodology, SAP Clean Core principles, as well as proficiency in using SAP LeanIX & Signavio for documenting Enterprise Architectures & Business Processes.
- Exceptional communication, influencing, and negotiation skills (in English and German) at the senior management level, both within IT teams and across business functions.
- Professional Training & Certification (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework featured by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect (P_SAPEA_2023), TOGAF) is advantageous.
