Responsibilities:
  • Assess and upgrade existing systems to the latest supported versions of IBM Datacap, Content Manager, and Content Navigator.
  • Perform thorough system assessments, compatibility checks, and environment readiness evaluations.
  • Design and implement customized solutions in Java, as well as configure and support ICN and WebSphere.
  • Identify and resolve complex upgrade issues during and after implementation.
  • Collaborate closely with infrastructure, application, and business teams to guarantee a seamless delivery experience.
  • Document upgrade procedures and best practices for future reference.
Requirements:
  • 5–8 years of experience in IBM Datacap and Content Manager.
  • Advanced expertise in installation, configuration, and support of ICN and WebSphere.
  • Hands-on experience with Db2, Oracle, SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with document capture workflows and content repositories.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • IBM Certifications (Datacap, Content Manager, Content Navigator).
  • Prior ECM upgrade project experience.
  • Knowledge of automation tools/scripting.
