Senior Android Engineer

We are seeking a Senior Android Engineer to join our team. This role involves designing, building and shipping high-quality Android software applications.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of professional programming experience and strong understanding of the Android development lifecycle and ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and develop high-quality Android software applications
  • Build and ship durable, secure, scalable and always-up software code
  • Design robust networking and data modeling layers
  • Provide recommendations on the best ways to solve a problem for a particular platform
Required Skills:
  • Strong Java or Kotlin skills
  • Experience with languages, frameworks and libraries such as Room, Coroutines/Flow, RxJava, Dagger 2, Gradle, Fragments, OkHttp3, Retrofit or Volley
  • Comfortable using IDEs, version control such as Git, and/or command line tools
  • Experience with CI/CD and setting up deployment pipelines
