About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team at General Motors. As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing electrical systems for our automotive products.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical systems for automotive products, including infotainment, telematics, and electronic modules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure electrical systems meet safety and performance requirements.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including schematics and wiring harness diagrams.
• Conduct testing and validation of electrical systems to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve electrical system design and development.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical, Electronic, Software, or Mechatronic Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical or electronic or software or mechatronics automotive product engineering.
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, including infotainment, telematics, and electronic modules.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in engineering field.
• Experience in the GM component specification and release process.
• Knowledge of software and CAN communication.
• Knowledge of Electromagnetic Interference and respective issues resolutions.
