Job Overview:

We're seeking an experienced engineer to join our team in a dynamic and exciting role, covering all layers of the Linux-based infrastructure and applications stack.

  • Work on various aspects of Ubuntu and open source applications large enterprise customers use.

This is a unique opportunity for a technologist with a passion for Linux and open source to build a career and drive success.

  • Resolve complex customer problems related to Ubuntu, Kernel, Ceph, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and other open source software.
  • Maintain close working relationships with support and product engineering teams.
  • Participate in upstream communities, developing bug fixes, backporting patches, and working with upstream for inclusion.
  • Review code produced by other engineers, demonstrating good judgment in technical methods and techniques.
  • Prioritize work effectively against set priorities, managing time efficiently.
  • Contribute to team discussions to improve processes, tools, and documentation.
  • Communicate clearly and concisely.
Key Skills:
  • Deep understanding of Linux and open source technologies.
  • Experience with Ubuntu, Kernel, Ceph, OpenStack, Kubernetes, and other relevant open source software.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve complex issues.
