Job Title: Business Strategy Data Analyst

As a Business Strategy Data Analyst, you'll play a critical role in driving our company's strategic priorities by providing data-driven insights and recommendations to our executive leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Extract, transform, and analyze data from various sources using SQL, Excel, and Google Sheets to inform operational decisions and reporting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and develop actionable data-driven solutions.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement through quantitative analysis and provide recommendations to enhance data analysis capabilities within the organization.
  • Support various operational initiatives by handling ad-hoc data requests and projects.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in a data analysis role or similar capacity.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with SQL for querying databases, including common table expressions, case statements, complex joins and unions, aggregate functions, and window functions.
  • Experience in Excel and/or Google Sheets for data analysis, modeling, and reporting, including knowledge of filters, pivot tables, and complex if statements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset with a problem-solving orientation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Ability to interpret data and present insights optimally to stakeholders.
  • Adaptability and a proactive approach to learning new tools and techniques.
  • Comfortable working independently and navigating ambiguous situations.
