Job Purpose
Support the maintenance of cost accounting records, manage the general ledger, and assist in financial reporting and budgeting activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor Missing IR/GR Weekly Reports, focusing on items due related to cost centers.
- Track and report on the status of asset orders.
- Collaborate with the senior cost accountant on rollover and ZCFLIP processes.
- Conduct weekly cycle count checks, including reporting and governance tasks.
- Generate monthly reports according to established timelines.
- Oversee ARM inventory and aging management.
- Analyze cost center consumption, both actual and projected.
- Assist in tracking and projecting PPV with guidance from the senior cost accountant.
- Maintain and update the GAFE tracker.
- Evaluate consumables, expandables, and production supplies, comparing actuals and projections against the budget.
- Analyze E&O in relation to open orders/PR.
- Monitor warehouse activity using LL01, including aging and follow-up.
- Coordinate and prepare month-end journal entries with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
- Assist in generating monthly performance reports and support flash updates related to REMS.
- Help respond to internal and external audit requests as needed.
- Support the management of all master data, including creation, activation, amendment, and blocking.
- Assist the senior cost accountant and finance lead in implementing processes to address non-compliance and manage ad-hoc tasks.
- Provide assistance with ad-hoc reporting requirements.
Qualifications
• 1-2 years of experience in the manufacturing industry, preferably in the oil and gas sector.
• Familiarity with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) and reporting systems (Hyperion) is advantageous.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, and capable of working independently.
