Medical Officer Opportunity

We are seeking a Medical Officer to provide medical care to workers onboard vessels.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Perform initial diagnoses and treatments, stabilizing patients until they can be transferred to medical facilities on land.
  • Implement disease prevention and health promotion programs.
  • Monitor and control outbreaks of infectious diseases onboard.
  • Manage the stock of medicines and medical equipment.
  • Keep detailed records of all care and procedures performed.
  • Train staff on first aid procedures and use of emergency equipment.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Doctorate in Medicine and registration with the Regional Medical Council (CRM).
  • Certifications in advanced life support, such as Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS).
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Minimum two years' experience in Emergency Medicine or Intensive Care.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
  • Desirable offshore experience.
