We are seeking an experienced actuary to lead actuarial analyses for our Latin America Commercial Property portfolio. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with actuaries and business partners from Brazil and the rest of LatAm, gaining exposure to a wide range of actuarial techniques, commercial products, and regional standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct quarterly reviews of projected profitability and segmentation analysis to better understand relative profitability.
- Develop and maintain pricing models to align with internal profit targets and/or external data.
- Partner with underwriting leadership to drive strategic actions and provide actuarial support for technical notes.
- Provide pricing support for individual large accounts and contribute to the development of global actuarial models and parameters.
We provide actuarial support to Corporate Solutions businesses across the Americas, working closely with P&C business leaders to provide guidance on profitability and needed rating plan changes. We also partner with actuaries around the world to develop efficient cross-product models and consistent parameters.
About You- University graduate with an actuarial degree and minimum five years of actuarial experience, preferably in a pricing role in property insurance.
- Active MIBA required, with preferred experience with product actuarial technical notes.
- Minimum of intermediate conversational English proficiency required.
- Critical skills: self-motivation, ability to work independently, organized, and able to manage various priorities, internal drive to push projects forward, curiosity to understand data insights, strong communication skills, and ability to turn technical insights into practical guidance.
