**Job Overview**
The Data Mapping Specialist is responsible for assisting in the completion of mapping operations, including base map edits, shape drawing, and other GIS-related tasks. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of GIS or previous experience working with mapping systems and tools.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• Provide support and assistance to internal and external clients to update data and information.
• Assist in the area of imagery and mapping data with attention to detail and exceptional quality and accuracy.
• Support the use of mapping tools and knowledge to continuously improve map accuracy and edits.
• Implement quality control tools and answer key quality questions about images.
• Insert important mapping metadata and other information as requested, with high precision.
**Qualifications & Experience**
• Intermediate English proficiency
• Experience with GIS or similar mapping tools
