Location: Americana Plant

Position Overview:
The role involves direct reporting to the Brazil Procurement Manager, focusing on fulfilling the Indirect Material requirements for the Americana Plant. The position is crucial in developing innovative solutions and proactively managing sourcing demands. It is essential to ensure effective communication between strategic sourcing teams and shared services transactional teams. The role also emphasizes adherence to procurement policies within the defined scope and supports organizational change management initiatives aligned with the Global Procurement transformation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement sourcing strategies at the plant or local level in accordance with the overarching Indirect category strategies.
  • Facilitate organizational change management initiatives for the plant or country.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with local suppliers based on the Global Procurement supplier segmentation strategy.
  • Conduct negotiations for local contracts to achieve regional and global financial objectives.
  • Evaluate cultural and organizational specifics to determine readiness for change and address any potential obstacles.

Qualifications:

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in a related field. Project Management certification and knowledge of import processes are advantageous.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong negotiation skills and expertise in the strategic sourcing process.
  • Project Management and Change Management capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both technical and non-technical.
  • Proficient in financial/statistical analysis, organizational skills, and advanced Microsoft Access/Excel skills or other database programs.
  • A collaborative team player with strong written and verbal communication abilities, influence skills, leadership qualities, and self-direction.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment. Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required; Spanish is a plus.
