We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at Embraer S.A. in a challenging role that involves managing the quality of suppliers.
Key Responsibilities- Supplier Quality Management: Develop and implement strategies to ensure the quality of parts purchased from suppliers, through the management of supplier quality.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead projects focused on quality improvement, working closely with internal areas such as Production, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Product Engineering.
- Supplier Development: Work with suppliers to establish strategies for continuous quality improvement, and manage corrective actions to ensure robust solutions are implemented within target timing.
- Quality Audits and Evaluations: Perform audits and technical evaluations with suppliers to ensure compliance with Embraer quality requirements.
- Collaboration and Communication: Interface with internal areas in a coordinated and leading manner to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Education: Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, and registration or eligibility to register on the Engineering and Agronomy Regional Council (CREA).
- Language Skills: Advanced English (reading, writing, and speaking) is required.
- Knowledge and Experience: Knowledge of quality management systems (AS9100, ISO9001) and lean manufacturing is essential. Experience working directly with suppliers, in the aerospace sector, and with international experience is a plus.
