We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Services Engineer to join our team at AB Enzymes. As a key member of our global technical services team, you will play a critical role in supporting the growth of our business in the pulp and paper industry.
Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support to key accounts in the pulp and paper industry, with a focus on the Northeast region of Brazil.
- Participate in the planning, execution, and follow-up of mill trials, including reporting and documentation.
- Work closely with local account managers and technical service managers to develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers in pulp and paper mills.
- Identify customer needs and provide technical assessments of opportunities.
- Participate in identifying and assessing market potential and business opportunities in the region.
- Preferably a degree in pulp and paper science, engineering, or a comparable field.
- Work experience in pulp/paper mills or suppliers to this industry.
- Experience and ability to operate and maintain dosing/pumping equipment necessary for enzyme applications.
- Experience in application of enzymes is a clear asset, but not essential.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively translate between technology and customer needs.
- Willingness and ability to travel frequently.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to use statistical software tools for analyzing and displaying trial trends and results.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills in Portuguese and English are essential.
