Airborne Captain for Offshore Operations
As an Airborne Captain, you will operate assigned aircraft in a safe and efficient manner. You will comply with operational standards and all applicable regulations.
You will place safety and customer service at the forefront of every action, both inside and outside the aircraft.
Ensure situational awareness throughout the operational region, respecting weather conditions, NOTAMs, sea state, and customer offshore facility status.
Manage passenger movements, aircraft movements, briefings, and baggage loading to ensure safety and compliance.
Complete necessary flight planning paperwork, preflight, fueling, and oversight of manifesting to ensure compliance.
Maintain accurate electronic and paper records, including journey logs, personal flight and duty sheets, and aircraft technical logbook times.
Report all aircraft mechanical irregularities by entering them in the aircraft paper and electronic technical log and ensure aircraft airworthiness before, during, and after all flights.
Facilitate communications with customers and ensure your organization is represented professionally.
Stay up-to-date on operational and safety procedures.
Comply with other duties and assignments determined by your Lead Pilot or Director of Operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- Minimum 4 years of experience in offshore operations (2 years may be considered depending on previous experience).
- Possess evidence of flight hours, as per minimum requirements: 1,500 flight hours in a multi-engine helicopter and 1,000 flight hours in command of a multi-engine helicopter.
