Job Title: Information Security Manager

This role oversees the establishment and maintenance of comprehensive security practices across our organization, focusing on continuous improvement and innovation.

  • To be successful in this position, you will lead a team responsible for designing, implementing, and evolving security strategies, techniques, tools, systems, and policies.
  • You will define organizational security standards and drive the architecture and design of our security operations center (SOC), analyzing and improving our security posture.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement new security solutions, identifying and containing security threats and cyber attacks.
  • Foster the growth and visibility of our security practice, contributing to open-source threat intelligence initiatives, and driving threat modeling, tabletop exercises, and other security best practices throughout Engineering, IT, and the organization.

This global leadership role requires a proven track record of mitigating sophisticated threat actors and nation-state threats, with an expert technical understanding of SOCs from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of SOC architecture and design, including strategies for logging, firewalls, network segmentation, honeypots, etc.

The successful candidate will be an exceptional leader and manager, possessing a strong academic background, an undergraduate degree in Computer Science or a related field, and excellent business English writing and presentation skills.

This individual will also have hands-on experience with Linux security, security risk management frameworks like NIST CSF, and participating in and consuming threat intelligence feeds.
