Information Security Strategist

We are seeking an experienced Information Security Strategist to develop and implement our organization's information security program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, implement, and improve information security policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential security threats.
  • Inform management on the security risk profile and advise on necessary improvements.
  • Support teams with implementing security enhancements.
  • Establish metrics, reporting mechanisms, and a roadmap for continual security program improvements.
  • Enhance security awareness throughout the organization.
  • Stay abreast of emerging security trends and threats, translating this knowledge into actionable recommendations.
Requirements:
  • Academic background with 3-10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant education or certification in information security (e.g. CISM, CISSP, CCSP).
  • Proven track record in information security, preferably with IT risk management, IT audit, and operational security experience.
  • Substantial knowledge of information security standards and regulations (ISO 27001/2, ISF Standards of Good Practice, PCI DSS, FIPS, HIPAA).
  • Excellent business English communication skills.
  • Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Effective influence, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Quality-driven and results-oriented.
  • A strong team player who contributes significantly to the organization's culture.
