Strategic Credit Lead Role

About the Position:

This leadership role oversees complex credit initiatives within the organization, driving business growth through expert analysis and risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mergers & Acquisitions:
    • Conduct comprehensive due diligence and credit analysis on target companies to identify key risks and opportunities.
    • Develop and present credit risk assessments and recommendations to senior management.
    • Support the integration of acquired companies into existing credit processes.
  • Joint Venture Partnerships:
    • Provide guidance for credit analysis and risk management practices for joint venture partnerships.
    • Develop and implement credit policies and procedures for joint ventures.
    • Monitor the credit performance of joint venture partners.
    • Provide guidance and training to joint venture partners on credit-related matters.
  • Financial Statement Analysis Application:
    • Manage the credit application process associated with the company's financial statement analysis application.
    • Ensure the application effectively captures and analyzes relevant credit data.
    • Monitor the application's performance and identify areas for improvement.
    • Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders on application development and maintenance.
  • Special Projects:
    • Contribute credit expertise to various special projects as they arise.
    • Provide credit risk assessments and recommendations for strategic initiatives.
    • Support the development and implementation of new credit products and services.
  • Leadership and Collaboration:
    • Interact effectively with executive-level managers, providing clear and concise credit information.
    • Collaborate with other leaders across commercial, finance, legal, and other departments.
    • Lead and mentor credit team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
