Job Title: Middle School Mathematics Instructor

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mathematics education and be able to create engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles. As a middle school mathematics instructor, you will be responsible for teaching math concepts to students in grades 6-8.


Responsibilities
  • Teach mathematics classes to middle school students, promoting a love of learning and a deep understanding of mathematical concepts.
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that are aligned with the curriculum and meet the needs of all learners.
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly, using data to drive decision-making.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administrators to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education or a related field.
  • Teaching certification in Mathematics (grades 6-12).
  • At least 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in a middle school setting.
  • Proven ability to manage classroom behavior and maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Mastery of Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSSM) and Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS).
  • Experience with project-based learning and technology integration in the classroom.
  • Familiarity with assessment tools and data analysis software.
  • Ability to adapt to changing curriculum requirements and educational technologies.
