What you'll do

  1. Participate in Refinement meetings to understand the requirements of the next Sprint, raising blocks if needed.
  2. Create the Test Plan of the Sprint Backlog to cover quality over Stories Acceptance Criteria, functional, and non-functional requirements.
  3. Ensure Acceptance Criteria.
  4. Actively participate in Scrum rituals (Planning, Daily, Review, Retros).
  5. Perform Test Execution based on the Test Plan, registering all bugs in Jira.
  6. Monitor Sprint control tools and help the team to continuously deliver Stories for tests from the beginning of the cycle to reduce quality risks and issues.
  7. Ensure bugs are properly resolved, retesting affected flows of the application, and updating Jira with necessary information.
  8. Contribute to Mobile team feature development and maintenance.
  9. Partner with colleagues to build and maintain tooling for test development, automation, and release processes improvement.
  10. Advocate for user experience when communicating with product, design, and tech.
  11. Provide the team with a quality strategy supporting delivery goals.
  12. Participate in a highly-skilled quality chapter, owning initiatives to improve quality processes, metrics, and tooling.
  13. Identify problems, risks, and dependencies, escalating and managing when necessary.
  14. Promote and defend best practices within the team and across the business.
  15. Automate E2E tests using Python.

What you'll need

  1. Bachelor's degree in information systems, engineering/computer science, or related areas.
  2. Experience with documentation.
  3. In-depth understanding of test concepts at all stages of the software development lifecycle.
  4. Comprehensive analytical skills.
  5. Experience in test specification using BDD/Gherkin.
  6. Experience in defect analysis and reporting.
  7. Experience in working or testing integration with web services and microservices (APIs).
  8. Experience in working or mobile (Android/iOS, both Native).
  9. Experience in working using API Tools support (like Postman).
  10. Good interpersonal communication with strong verbal and written skills in English.
  11. Experience working with a software management system (JIRA is preferred).
  12. Experience with agile methodologies.
  13. Experience with test automation processes and tools and Frameworks, such as Selenium, Browserstack, LambdaTest, etc.
  14. Familiarity with Git.
  15. Experience with test automation using Python, Selenium, and Appium.
  16. Familiarity with software built-in Native Mobile.
