Cloud Engineer Opportunity

In our innovative IT department, you'll work holistically to support the further development and global operation of cloud services, directly contributing to the success of business units.

You'll implement reliably in the role of Cloud Engineer, supporting product teams in the conception, implementation, operation, and further development of cloud services and automation code.

To achieve this, you'll be interested and informed about new cloud technologies, shaping the further development of products, organization, and implementing the cloud strategy.

Close cooperation is key, as you'll be in close contact with internal customers, understand customer requirements, and jointly prioritize service development in your product team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organized and responsible working method in an agile environment (SCRUM)
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in software engineering, ideally with in-depth knowledge in one or more IT infrastructure areas (compute, network, storage), container technologies
  • Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages (e.g., Java), scripting (e.g., Bash, Powershell or Python), and automation (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) as well as knowledge of cloud technologies such as OpenStack, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools like Git, Artifactory, Jenkins
  • Interest in current IT cloud technologies
