Senior Data Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Data Software Engineer to join our global team. As a key member of our data analytics and insights team, you will play a vital role in creating innovative data-driven solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop new features using Agile methodologies
  • Ensure high-quality standards at every development stage
  • Guarantee system reliability, availability, performance, and scalability
  • Maintain and troubleshoot code in large-scale environments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer-centric solutions
  • Provide technical input for new features, partnering with business owners and architects
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies for continuous improvement
  • Drive solutions aligned with business objectives
  • Mentor less experienced team members
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and standards adherence
  • Contribute to architectural and technical discussions

Requirements:

  • At least 3+ years of experience in Data Software Engineering
  • Hands-on expertise in server development with Python and PySpark
  • Experience with Azure Data Factory for scalable applications
  • Proficiency in Advanced SQL for database schema design and management
  • Experience in data analysis and troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of testing, version control, and deployment support
  • Ability to support applications in production environments
  • Ability to translate requirements into technical design
  • Exposure to Databricks, Azure Data Lake, Spark, Scala, Kafka
  • Strong background in Big Data and scalable application design
  • Excellent communication skills in English (upper-intermediate or higher)
