About the Role

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to join our team. As part of Cloud Engineering, you will be responsible for building and deploying software solutions using Python and Go. You will work closely with our globally distributed team to design, develop, and test software applications that meet the needs of our customers.

  • Design and develop high-quality, scalable software applications using Python and Go.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify requirements and deliver solutions that meet customer needs.
  • Work closely with our field teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software solutions.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Experience with writing modern, maintainable Python code.
  • Familiarity with Ceph storage and its ecosystem.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a global team.
Desirable Skills

The following skills would be beneficial for this role:

  • Experience operating Ceph clusters in production.
  • Familiarity with Linux, Kubernetes, Public Cloud, OpenStack, LXC/LXD, Python, Go, and Debian packaging.
