- Ensure that documents comply with established style guides and industry standards.
- Collaborate with writers and subject matter experts to develop and revise technical content.
- Ensure that documents are well-organized and easily understandable for the intended audience.
- Verify the accuracy of technical information and data.
- Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Use appropriate software tools to format and publish technical documents.
- A Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical editing or technical writing.
- Strong knowledge of grammar, style, and usage conventions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Experience using technical editing tools and software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Ability to initiate, develop and maintain mutually beneficial client relationships.
- Ability to respond to inquiries from internal and external clients.
- Clear vision and depth perception are also necessary.
- Employees must be sharp, focused, and alert.
- Must be able to interact and communicate with clients at all levels (e.g. internal and external).
- Must have high level of analytical skills.
- Must have knowledge of a variety of computer software applications including but not limited to, Microsoft Office Applications.
- Ability to multi-task and pay close attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical, organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- U.S. Citizenship Required - You must be a United States Citizen.
