At a pioneering company, we are revolutionizing the crafting industry. We seek a skilled professional to join our team and create a brand-new data insights team from scratch.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure and track operations efficiency, identify trends, work with stakeholders to understand root causes, and translate learnings into actionable insights.
  • Develop and maintain key performance metrics and dashboards, presenting insights to business partners and executive leadership.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to build datasets, conduct robust analyses, and translate data into actionable insights.
  • Collaborate with other data professionals to scale our client's data ecosystem and enable cross-functional projects.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in e-commerce is ideal, focusing on customer journey analysis, such as checkout processes and customer feedback.
  • Familiarity with multiple tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker), including CRM systems and platforms like Shopify, demonstrating versatility in handling diverse technologies.
  • Strong SQL experience.
  • Ability to work with clean, high-quality data, but also comfortable navigating and building complex data models to extract meaningful insights efficiently.
  • Identify pain points and areas where customers are lost, providing actionable insights to improve retention.
  • Implement innovative solutions and 'hacks' to optimize customer experiences and improve processes.
  • Experience working across various industries or domains, bringing a well-rounded perspective to the role.
  • Demonstrated longevity in previous roles, reflecting reliability and dedication.
  • Comfortable being the first hire in this area, requiring minimal guidance and showing initiative to build frameworks and strategies independently.
  • Bonus if experienced in working with teams across different time zones, showing adaptability and strong communication skills.
