We are seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join our team.

Job Description

The Senior Data Scientist will be responsible for researching, applying, and modifying solutions to meet business needs, delivering results. The ideal candidate will use statistics and programming in Python as tools for developing analytical solutions, performing portfolio analysis to identify opportunities for action and improvement, creating presentations of results, and discussing them with internal or external clients. They will be part of a diverse team that interacts frequently and is expected to work well in collaboration.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize statistical methods and predictive modeling
  • Evaluate results and simulate scenarios in portfolios, making recommendations
  • Use analytics to resolve problems quickly
  • Develop presentations
  • Experience with Machine Learning / Python
  • Manipulate, process, analyze, and interpret data
  • Utilize data across different environments
  • Knowledge of database structures
Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, the candidate must have:

  • Analytical thinking, knowledge of existing machine learning techniques and statistical tools (sampling, logistic regression) and ability to absorb new techniques
  • Capacity for planning and prioritizing tasks
  • Able to simplify and share techniques and results with the team and clients
  • Facility to learn and research various topics
