Android Software Engineer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Android software engineer with deep expertise across the Android stack below the application layer, from the Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) and System Services down to Linux kernel-level integration.

This role offers the opportunity to work with the latest Android versions, contributing to innovative embedded systems in the critical middleware space between low-level hardware and the Android framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and optimize Android-based platforms.
  • Contribute to innovative embedded systems in the critical middleware space.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of professional experience in embedded software/firmware development.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience with Android AOSP development, including deep knowledge of HAL, Android Framework, and System Services.
  • Strong understanding of recent Android versions, features, APIs, and changes.
  • Proficiency in C++, Java, and modifying system-level code in C.
  • Solid experience in Embedded Linux development.
  • Strong familiarity with low-level system layers and good understanding of Linux kernel internals.
  • Familiarity with Android development tools and workflows.
  • Good grasp of networking protocols.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, independent working style.
