As a senior lawyer, you will play a key role in advising on Investment Banking businesses and risk management activities. You will negotiate transaction agreements and advocate for regulatory matters.

Responsibilities will include implementing regulatory requirements, providing day-to-day support to Investment Banking teams, and developing relationships with external counsel. You will collaborate with them on transactions and liaise with legal colleagues in other jurisdictions on cross-border transactions.

You will also support the business on new product initiatives, helping navigate complex legal frameworks and policies. Additionally, you will participate in industry associations, representing the firm in discussions related to the investment banking sector's regulatory and operational framework.

  • Licensed to practice law in Brazil.
  • A senior lawyer with at least 12+ years of financial industry regulatory and/or transactional experience.
  • Strong understanding of capital markets, financing structures, derivatives, and banking regulations.
  • Strong leadership and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to establish strong relationships with senior stakeholders in the business and other functions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Commercial aptitude and strong interest in financial markets and products.
  • Excellent legal drafting skills and an eye for detail.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
