Main Responsibilities- Design and implement high-volume, real-time, and batch data ingestion pipelines, ensuring data quality, reliability, and optimal pipeline performance.
- Share knowledge with engineers and foster a culture of agile, data-driven decision-making.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams using excellent English communication skills.
- Professional experience as a Data Engineer with expertise in designing and implementing solutions for high-volume, real-time, or batch data ingestion.
- Experience with Python for building robust data pipelines.
- Extensive experience with Apache Spark (Spark SQL, PySpark) for optimizing and accelerating complex data processing jobs.
- Strong understanding of the AWS ecosystem, focusing on core data services like S3 and Lambdas.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying production applications with AWS Glue as the primary engine for data processing and complex transformations.
- Ability to coach and lead, teaching and advocating for good engineering and collaboration practices.
