Accountant Position

We are seeking an Accountant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized and detail-oriented, with a passion for numbers.

About the Role:

The Accountant will be responsible for performing and reviewing accounting entries and monthly reconciliations. They will also close books and prepare financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, DRE, DMPL, DFC). Additionally, they will calculate taxes (PIS, COFINS, IRPJ, CSLL, ICMS, ISS) and submit related obligations (ECD, ECF, DCTF, SPED).

The Accountant must ensure compliance with Brazilian and international accounting standards (IFRS). They will support internal and external audits by providing information and reports. Furthermore, they will assist the finance and tax departments with accounting analyses and management reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Performing and reviewing accounting entries and monthly reconciliations.
  2. Closing books and preparing financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, DRE, DMPL, DFC).
  3. Calculating taxes (PIS, COFINS, IRPJ, CSLL, ICMS, ISS) and submitting related obligations (ECD, ECF, DCTF, SPED).
  4. Ensuring compliance with Brazilian and international accounting standards (IFRS).
  5. Supporting internal and external audits by providing information and reports.
Requirements:
  • Complete degree in Accounting (active CRC).
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of tax legislation and accounting standards (IFRS/BRGAAP).
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with ERPs (Protheus, SAP, or similar).
