Job Overview:

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Voice and Services Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in proposing, analyzing, and defining requirements for new and existing services and systems related to voice systems.

You will be responsible for preparing, designing, testing, and providing new solutions or product changes to our existing portfolio. Additionally, you will define and support the technology evolution roadmap for the systems under your responsibility.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex solutions that influence the design of current products and address design issues for future products or technologies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with other teams in defining and managing project delivery of new solutions
  • Design new consumer and corporate telecom solutions
  • Create technical documentation and maintain it over the lifecycle of solutions
  • Perform implementations in live environments
  • Follow up and define Quality and Performance indicators
  • Analyze capacity and performance, report, and improve solution definitions
  • Define and implement service and resource configurations on requested systems
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in implementing live solutions on mobile telecom networks, including GSM, UMTS, LTE, IMS
  • Knowledge of 3GPP, GSMA, ITU standards and specifications
  • Experience in designing, testing, and operating NGN-based networks, including MSS/MGW, HLR/HSS, SBC
  • Experience in defining, establishing, and maintaining voice interconnects, SIP/RTP based
  • Understanding of IMS architecture and knowledge about VoIP, VoLTE, VoWiFi, and QoS
  • Experience with SMS service configuration and routing
  • IMS Architecture knowledge, including P/S/I-CSCF, Application Servers
  • IMS Protocol Interfaces – Gm Interface, ISC interface, Sh Interface, Cx, SOAP/XML, etc.
  • Experience in mobile services charging (offline, online)
  • Familiarity with Diameter/SCTP networks and protocol
  • Knowledge of Signaling Gateways and protocols, including SS7, SIGTRAN, MAP, and CAMEL
  • Experience with protocol analyzer tools like Wireshark, Astelia
  • Familiarity with ETSI NFV architecture and solutions
  • English proficiency is mandatory, other languages are a plus
Nice to Have:
  • +3 years working on telecoms, designing, and implementing mobile core networks
  • Previous experience with Nokia, Oracle, and Ribbon IMS products
