Job Summary:

Amazon is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Compliance Manager to join our team in LATAM. As a Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance strategies and policies that balance regulatory requirements with business enablement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the legal impact of new product initiatives and develop compliance requirements.
  • Maintain a horizon view to detect and respond to new regulatory developments and issues that may pose compliance risk.
  • Manage examination and external audit processes, maintaining productive relationships with external assessors.
  • Promote a culture of compliance and educate business teams on compliance concerns and objectives.
  • Manage the day-to-day functions of the compliance program, including regulatory reporting and oversight of business-owned controls.
  • Prepare reports to senior management and senior business leaders with timely and actionable intelligence concerning the health of compliance programs.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • Experience in financial services risk management or other internal control functions within a complex international organization.
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with data, including the ability to structure analyses and interpret data.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, ability to translate complex issues for consumption by technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Working knowledge of AML, Sanctions, and KYC related laws in Brazil.
  • Advanced English skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in payments or e-commerce.
  • Professional certification such as CAMS, CRCM, or CRP.
