Senior Shopify Developer Position

We are seeking an experienced Senior Shopify Developer to join our team.

This role involves providing technical support, troubleshooting issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Shopify development, experience with front-end caching, CDNs, and request-response flow, as well as knowledge of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and methodologies.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-level technical support and troubleshoot critical issues
  • Conduct incident analysis and document resolutions for continuous improvement
  • Engage with Product Management and business partners on system capability and design
  • Work with Development to ensure technical requirements and best practices
  • Support Project Management with effort estimates and planning
  • Develop key system components and optimize delivery time
Requirements

The successful candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Shopify development experience
  • Knowledge of Shopify Plus
  • Solid understanding of SDLC and methodologies
  • Experience troubleshooting site issues using various tools
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail
  • Experience with page performance optimization and secure development practices
  • Familiarity with front-end caching, CDNs, and request-response flow
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
