Industry Analyst Engagement Specialist

This role requires a strategic and collaborative individual to develop and execute a targeted engagement plan for industry analysts. The successful candidate will be responsible for educating key influencers on IBM's offerings and strategies, while also influencing analyst research and perceptions of the company.

About the Job
The Industry Analyst Engagement Specialist will work closely with business unit teams to understand their needs and goals, and will develop tailored engagement plans to meet those objectives. This may involve researching and analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities for collaboration with analysts, and developing compelling messaging to showcase IBM's value proposition.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive analyst engagement strategy that aligns with business unit goals and objectives
- Build and maintain relationships with key industry analysts and influencers
- Conduct research and analysis to stay up-to-date on market trends and competitor activity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of analyst engagement initiatives

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. marketing, communications, business)
- 3+ years of experience in a related field (e.g. analyst relations, marketing, sales)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
