Job Title: SAP Business Solution Architect-Finance

Imerys, a world leader in creating specialty solutions, is seeking a highly skilled SAP Business Solution Architect to join our team. As a key member of our Finance and Controlling department, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organization.

Job Summary:

The SAP Business Solution Architect will be responsible for ensuring the success of our SAP Core Model project by providing functional and technical drive to solution components during and after the SAP Core Model rollouts across Imerys Business Areas. This includes directing solution design and build, maintaining a high level of IT expertise, and managing the resulting maintenance and evolution cycles for SAP Core Model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and build SAP Core Model components, ensuring compliance with Imerys' standards and policies.
  • Collaborate with IT Competency Centers, Business Solution Architects, Rollout teams, Business Process Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless implementation and rollout of SAP Core Model.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of SAP Core Model methodology, including application activities related to business requirements, analysis, solution design, configuration, development, testing, documentation, training, and acceptance.
  • Work closely with SAP Core Model & Wave teams to ensure knowledge transfer and standard compliance with OPERA rollout methodology.
  • Ensure that Change Requests are properly understood and approved by Business Process Owners before any configuration and/or development.
  • Promote the SAP Core Model Methodology across IT organization.
Requirements:
  • Master degree in Information System or Master in Management degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in SAP implementation for Controlling and Finance, with at least one S/4 Hana implementation experience.
  • Experience in a team geographically dispersed (multicultural management experience).
  • Strong business and functional knowledge of Finance & Controlling with emphasis in Industrial Controlling and integration with other processes such as Sales, Purchasing, Production.
  • Strong expertise in SAP implementation, with knowledge of interface design to external systems and application architecture.
  • Familiarity with Fiori applications and S/4 Hana functionalities of version 2020 and above.
  • Ability to lead specific studies/assignments with internal and/or external resources and functions.
Language Skills:

English (Advanced), fluency in Spanish is desirable.
