Our team seeks an accomplished software engineer to contribute to the development of efficient, scalable and user-friendly back-end applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Node.JS and a passion for creating clean, well-documented code.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing and maintaining back-end applications using Node.js and NestJS;
  • Implementing and managing relational and non-relational databases such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB;
  • Collaborating with other developers and participating in code reviews;
  • Working in an agile environment, adapting quickly to changes in project requirements and priorities;
  • Writing automated tests to ensure software quality and using CI/CD tools to automate the integration and continuous delivery process;
  • Designing and implementing microservices and RESTful APIs; and
  • Configuring and managing containers using Docker and Kubernetes and deploying and managing applications on cloud services like AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.

Requirements include:

  • Proven experience as a software engineer;
  • Proficiency in Node.js and NestJS and solid knowledge of relational and non-relational databases;
  • Experience with version control using Git;
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies;
  • Ability to write clean, scalable and well-documented code;
  • Experience with automated testing and CI/CD tools;
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
  • Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes;
  • Experience with cloud services;
  • Skill Set: Languages and Frameworks - Node.js, NestJS Databases - PostgreSQL, MongoDB Version Control - Git Agile Methodologies - Scrum, Kanban CI/CD Tools - Jenkins, Travis CI Software Architecture - Microservices, RESTful APIs Containers - Docker, Kubernetes Cloud Services - AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Interpersonal Skills - Effective communication, teamwork
