About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of empty containers to ensure their structure, integrity, and cleanliness. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and develop your career with a leading company.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and record any damage, corrosion, or irregularities that may compromise the use of containers.
- Complete inspection reports, documenting observed conditions and necessary actions.
- Maintain organized records of completed inspections and container conditions.
- Classify containers based on their condition (suitable for use, repair required, unfit for use).
- Inform supervision about containers requiring immediate maintenance or repair.
- Collaborate with logistics and maintenance teams to ensure containers are properly prepared for use.
- Communicate with other departments regarding necessary actions.
Requirements:
- Completed secondary education.
- Completed Container Inspector course.
- Will to relocate to Santos/SP.
- Familiarity with international norms, such as IMO and CSC regulations.
- Familiarity with Brazilian laws and customs requirements for cargo transportation.
