About the Role

GEP Worldwide is a leading procurement consulting firm seeking a highly skilled Strategic Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our consulting services group, you will apply strategic consulting expertise in purchasing, supply chain management, business process outsourcing, and technology to drive business growth and improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic sourcing and category management projects and activities
  • Identify, develop, and implement process improvement ideas that drive improved efficiencies and cost savings
  • Meet and exceed all service level requirements and drive exceptional client satisfaction
  • Interact with senior levels in client organizations
  • Strategic Client Management & Client Relationship Building
  • Coaching & mentoring of consultants
  • Firm building activities including recruiting, training, etc.
  • Participating in Firm Growth Strategy & Execution activities
  • Knowledge & Intellectual Capital building for the firm
  • Travel to client sites as required

Requirements

  • 5+ years consulting Procurement experience in top consulting firms, as well as Procurement Outsourcing Background (e-auctions & Retail)
  • Solid procurement knowledge
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish is a Plus
  • Ability to lead and manage meetings
  • Experience in leading small and medium size projects and assignments
  • Ability to convert large amount of information into concise description
  • Ability to work in self-managed and team environments
  • Good record of interaction with customers
  • Good Presentation skills
  • Open to Travelling to client sites up to 80% if required
  • BA/BS Degree required
  • Exposure to Business Development is a PLUS
  • Valid American Visa (preferred)
