Key Roles and Responsibilities
The incumbent will perform the following tasks related to our operation in Brazil:
  • Issue Material Invoice, such as Embark, Disembark, and other.
  • Issue Import Invoice as well as customs clearance certificate.
  • Keep track of invoices and prepare Tax Returns related to indirect tax.
  • Review supplier invoices from a tax perspective to identify and correct any inconsistency.
  • Calculate taxes due on invoices, such as withholding taxes and taxes due on selling invoices.
  • Assist with cross-checking and validating tax obligations.
  • Assist in reconciling tax information with accounting records.

**Requirements**:
  1. Hold a degree in Accounting or a related field.
  2. Have experience in taxation, preferably in an accounting firm or industry.
  3. Knowledge of tax obligations.
  4. Ability to understand and work with ERP systems.
  5. Fluent in oral and written Portuguese language.
