Financial Collections Specialist

Our organization seeks a skilled Key Accountant to play a pivotal role in managing customer relationships and ensuring timely payments. This critical position involves collaborating with customers to resolve current and past due invoices, as well as routine collection efforts for major customers with past due invoices.
- Managing account billing, invoicing, and subscription management based on executed contracts and order forms is essential for success in this role.
- Past due invoice issues will be escalated and reported to management in a timely manner.
This individual will work closely with the sales organization to resolve any customer-related concerns and establish strong working relationships with customers. Additionally, they will respond promptly to customer and internal inquiries and perform month-end reconciliations of accounts receivable accounts.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, customer service, or a related field. They possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills, are self-motivated, and can prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities. Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting knowledge, and intermediate Excel skills (pivot table, sum-ifs, and lookups) are also essential.
