Position Overview:
As a Cargo Operations Supervisor, you will be responsible for organizing daily cargo and marine operations in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Effectively communicate with various departments to ensure safe Simultaneous Operations (SIMOPS) and provide necessary support.
- Coordinate with other supervisors to maintain safe operational standards across the vessel.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of daily work scope to manage your team and third-party vendors effectively.
- Communicate the daily job plan, conduct toolbox talks, and prepare necessary permits and worksite inspections.
- Supervise third-party vendors operating within the cargo department's jurisdiction.
- Collaborate with the off-take crew to ensure safe offloading activities.
To lead your team effectively, you will establish clear objectives aligned with business goals, monitor performance, and facilitate individual and team development through training and competency assessments.
You will also maintain regular communication with cargo superintendents to ensure safe cargo marine operations.
