Financial Strategist

We are seeking an experienced investment analyst to drive strategic value creation for our organization.

The successful candidate will work directly with senior managers and partners, evaluating creative and complex investments that have the potential to create significant value.

The role involves supporting deal origination activities, including target sourcing, evaluation, financial statement preparation, and economic modeling.

• Engage with business founders, CEOs, and entrepreneurs to introduce our organization and evaluate fit with our investment mandate;
• Serve as the lead for day-to-day contact with the executive teams of companies we are evaluating;
• Be involved in execution activities, including data gathering, analysis, and material preparation, as well as managing deal evaluation processes such as leading due diligence inquiries and preparing transaction documentation.

You will be responsible for:

• Supporting senior managers and partners in deal origination activities, including target sourcing, evaluation, financial statement preparation, and economic modeling;
• Engaging with business founders, CEOs, and entrepreneurs to introduce our organization and evaluate fit with our investment mandate;
• Serving as the lead for day-to-day contact with the executive teams of companies we are evaluating.

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A degree in finance/business administration, accounting, statistics, or economics;
• Previous experience in investment banking, corporate finance, private equity, venture capital, management consulting, or related fields;
• Excellent attention to detail;
• Ability to model and present data, as well as transform data and analysis into actionable recommendations;
• Strong multitasking skills;
• Capacity to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines;
• Capable of working with a high degree of autonomy;
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling confident communication with and presentation to business founders, CEOs, entrepreneurs, other C-level professionals, and senior investment professionals;
• Fluency in English and Spanish.
