Chief Financial Officer

Cahaba Medical Care Foundation is seeking a seasoned and mature Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our team. As a strategic financial leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing financial strategies that support the organization's mission and goals.

The CFO will oversee all accounting, financial reporting, cash management, budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and financial compliance requirements. You will work closely with the Deputy CEO, CEO, and senior leaders to develop and implement strategic plans and goals that align with the organization's vision.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and maintaining financial forecasting models that emphasize cash flow management
• Analyzing financial data, forecasting future trends, and providing insights to support informed decision-making
• Developing and overseeing the annual budgeting process, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives
• Monitoring actual performance against budgets and providing regular updates and analyses to stakeholders

The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of broad finance experience, preferably beginning in accounting, followed by experience gathering and evaluating financial information and making actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

You will have expertise in GAAP compliance and audit coordination, as well as a passion for Cahaba Medical Care's Core Cultural Competencies. A Bachelor of Science Degree in a business-related field is required, with a Master's Degree preferred.

In addition to your technical skills, you will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders. You will also have experience managing high-performing teams and leading cross-functional teams.
