Golang Tech Lead

As a seasoned software professional, you will oversee the technical direction of Go-based software projects. Your leadership skills will help to guide a development team in setting high standards for software design and implementation.

We are looking for an individual who can ensure delivery of robust, efficient software solutions. This involves reviewing and contributing to code, utilizing best practices to balance new functionalities with existing customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have experience in fostering a high-performance engineering culture while growing and leading their team. Collaboration with cross-regional teams is also essential for designing, developing, and releasing localized MVPs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team in achieving software excellence through strategic planning and team management.
  • Collaborate with other teams to develop and implement software solutions that meet client requirements.
  • Review and contribute to code to ensure it meets quality and performance standards.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of industry trends and technologies to stay ahead in the field.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Golang development.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and their application in project delivery and team collaboration.
  • Expertise in design patterns and their application in software development.
  • Advanced IT infrastructure knowledge.
  • Experience in application security best practices.
  • Proven track record in developing and integrating large-scale applications.
  • Expertise in both back-end and front-end development areas.
  • Ability to conduct code reviews and manage CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts to clients and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in team management, task allocation, risk identification, decision-making, task estimation, conflict resolution, and project planning.
  • Fluency in English language.
